This is all really helpful advice, and a well written article, good stuff really, but I simply don't think you can ignore material conditions when it comes to talking about depression. A much higher percentage of people who are depressed are those who are living in or near poverty. Depression is very much linked to how much control we feel we have in our lives, and those who are forcefully stuck at the bottom don't have many choices, hence depression. I think in 2022 it is irresponsible to forget to mention how closely linked material conditions are to mental health.
